This was yet again a fiercely contested competition over two heats with 14 schools hoping to represent the Eastern Warwickshire area at the next round. The Revel Primary School and Provost Williams Primary School each made it to the final and played the deciding match on Thursday last week with a finishing score of 1-0. The winning team will now represent the Eastern Warwickshire area at the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Level 3 School Games competition on Monday (March 14).

Thank you to all the schools that competed in bitterly cold conditions: Provost Williams, The Revel, St Maries, Dunchurch Junior, Oakfield, The Crescent, Henry Hinde, Boughton Leigh, Paddox, Rokeby, Riverside, Abbots Farm, Eastlands and Knightlow.

Thank you also to Bilton School for hosting and to their superb young leaders who led the warm up and skills sessions and then refereed the games.
