HOSPITAL OPEN CUP COMPETITION - SPONSORED BY MELBROS

The cup often brings out a rare result and Sunday was a great example. On the Rocks Quigley’s take the headlines after pulling off a 3-3 draw with division 1 opponents Community Relations.

They battled hard from the first whistle to the last. They went a goal behind in the 25th minute, but just before the break Lloyd Senna found the net to make it all square. They didn’t start the second half well and went behind again to an early goal. With 60 minutes on the clock Patrick O’Brien fired home to make it 2-2 and then Gavin Pickering put them ahead for the first time in the game. It was CRC’s turn to battle and they were rewarded late in the game when they found an equaliser to share the points.
