Rugby Town JFC have agreed a two-year link up with Coerver Coaching UK.

The deal will see all the club’s coaches attend courses at Kilsby Lane to develop their players. Players and parents will also have access to online sessions.

The programme, which was launched earlier this month, saw 72 club coaches attend.

Dave Roche, the club’s Development Officer, said:“We have been looking for a couple of years on how to develop our players further and to give our coaches additional education skills. Coerver, a world leader in coaching, has the ideal programme and the club have made a commitment for two years for the Coerver team to deliver it. The online sessions are direct to your home computer or to a mobile device, making sure the players are working constantly on their skills. We are delighted to have Scott and his team on board.”

Coerver England and Wales Director, Scott Wright, said: “Rugby Town JFC are one of only six grassroots football clubs in England and Wales to have been granted Coerver Partner Club status, which will initially run for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 and is exclusive in Warwickshire.

“We are really pleased to grant Coerver Partner Club status to Rugby Town JFC, which is a club that I have seen grow and develop exponentially over the last 10 years or so.

“We will be supporting all club members to include players, coaches and parents in a variety of ways over the next couple of years, which is all geared towards developing the football side of the club to match the fantastic facilities at Kilsby Lane.

“Everything is in place now to really push the club forward and these are really exciting times.”
