Having beaten Rugby schools on their way to reaching the Warwickshire finals, St Marie’s have now beaten the best of Warwickshire school teams too - and are now through to take on the next level of competition in the regional finals.

The tournament was held at Bedworth United Football Club, where the St Marie’s team played some excellent football, winning four of their games and drawing the fifth.

The team only conceded one goal throughout the whole competition in what was a wonderful performance from the whole squad.

The girls have been working extremely hard in their PE lessons and in training sessions that are held at school.

They are looking forward to the next round where they will be testing their skills against some of the best teams in the Midlands.
