The League Champions Lawford struggled on Sunday in their Group 1 game, losing 2-1 to Drayton Grange. The Royal Oak, however, had a close call in their game against Quigley’s but they won it 3-2. Dean Owen scored a brace and Lee Thomas added a single. For Quigley’s, brothers Michael and Adam Treacy scored singles.

In Group 2 CRC first team met their Reserves and despite a goal from Mark Shipman for the Reserves they couldn’t hold their first team. Anton scored a hat-trick Dan Nelson and Ben Cox added giving them a 5-1 victory. The Holly Bush and Avon Mill drew 2-2. Joe Preston and Danny Dumbleton scored for the Mill and in reply Darius Keynedad got both goals.

In Group 3 Athletico Belbao and The Webb drew 1-1. Two goals from Pat Walle gave Griffin a 2-1 victory over Rugby FC. Shane Osborne scored for Rugby.

In Group 4 the Barley Mow had a 6-1 win against Royal Oak Res (from Division 2). Dan Scott scored a brace and Craig McCauley, Nicoli Ivanciuc, Vladimir Timciuc and Rob Littlejohn got the Barley goals.

Another first division team banging in the goals was Clifton Bull, who put eight past second division Caldecott Arms. Ollie Hartnack hit a hat-trick, Danny Riddell got a brace and Jack Enefer, Dean Bosworth and Matt Lewis added singles. The visitors did get a consolation goal scored by Joe North.
