SFF coach Chay Thompson said: “This is a great opportunity for lads to be involved in our programme, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience of what it is like within a Strachan Football Foundation team. For lads wanting to come onto the Full Time Education Programme in 2017 being part of the pre-academy would be very beneficial to their development and will help them be prepared for full time football in 2017. ”

Strachan Football Foundation have a great reputation in finding trials for younger players. Last season saw five players trial with over 10 professional clubs from Premier League to League One in England and at clubs in Scotland too.

They will be looking to hold trials Saturday, July 30 in order to be able to start the season towards the end of August.
