FOOTBALL: Want to play for Rugby Town's Youth Team?

Rugby Town Youth Team will be holding trials next week for the forthcoming season. The trials are open to any players who will be between school years 11 and 13 (under 16s, 17s and 18s) as of September.

Rugby Town Youth Team play in the Premier Division of the Midland Floodlit Youth League, against the likes of Kidderminister Harriers, Solihull Moors, Stratford Town and Stourbridge. “We believe it to be the best standard of football below academy level!” said manager Dan Gibson.

“If you would like to challenge yourself and think you’re good enough to play at this standard then we would love to see you. All of the trials will take place on grass and we will not only be testing your footballing ability, but your attitude as well as speed and stamina.

We look forward to seeing as many lads there as possible and please spread the word.”

The trials will take place at Butlin Road on the following dates:

Monday, May 9 - 6.15pm - 8.30pm

Wednesday, May 11 - 6.15pm - 8.30pm

Monday, June 6 - 6.15pm - 8.30pm

Wednesday, June 8 - 6.15pm - 8.30pm
