Rugby Town lost 1-0 at Leek on Saturday after conceding the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute.

They were unable to find a reply to their hosts’ strike, which sees Town drop a couple of places to ninth in NPL South Division. Leek are now seventh.

It was a disappointing day for the Butlin Road side after such a good run of results in recent weeks.

Rugby are due to host struggling Daventry tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at Butlin Road, kicking off at 7.45pm. The teams should have played on Easter Monday, but Daventry were unable to raise a team.
