Subs score to take the points against Beaconsfield

Rugby Town beat Beaconsfield 2-1 on Saturday, with two goals in the last 12 minutes. The hosts, not at their best for most of the game, went 1-0 down in the 24th minute. And then finding some form at the end, Town levelled through Lewis Rankin in the 78th minute and - much to the delight of fans - Fazel Koriya snatched the points in the 90th.

The victory extends Valley’s winning run to seven games since Boxing Day and sees them fourth in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central.

Town now have 53 points from 28 games, but have played one more game than Bedworth United in third (55 points from 27 games) and three more games than second-placed Kettering (55 from 25). New leaders Aylesbury have 56 points from their 28 games.

Hanwell, in fifth with 51 points, also have three games in hand over Rugby.
