Rugby Golf Club held its annual Drive In to welcome its recently elected Gents and Ladies Captains and Vice Captains for 2016, along with their resident Golf Professional David Quinn and out-going Captains.

The 2016 Gents Club Captain will be Chris Moran and his Vice Captain Mike Klodzinski. The 2016 Ladies Captain is Sue Davis and her Vice Captain Ann Hawkins. Out-going Captains Mark Ridley and Olive Atwell now join the long list of Past Club Captains.

The Longest Drive winner on the day was Mark Ridley, Captain 2015. During his very successful year he accumulated the magnificent total of £9,538 for his nominated charity British Heart Foundation.

Chris Moran’s nominated charities for 2016 are Prostate Cancer and the Cardiac Rehab Unit at St Cross Hospital. He has in mind a large number of activities to be held during the year for the enjoyment of both members and non-members.
