Leamington Ladies outgun England team in warm-up

Leamington were determined to take on the challenge and to get a win against a very experienced side.

England took the lead early on in the first half. butLeamington responded well, continuing to thread the ball past the England defence, and Lucy Miszkowska managed the equaliser slotting the ball past the keeper.

Leamington grew in confidence and continued their attacks with some well worked goals from Kerry Luckett and Rachel Mason to take a 3-1 lead into half time.

Creative play from both sides and hard graft in midfield set the tonefor the second half with England side scoring two further goals,

Not to be outdone, Leamington created an array of chances which were put away by Sarah Cockayne, Luckett and Mason (2).
