Leamington’s Masters men leap into first

Fresh from winning all the relay events in the regular season, Leamington C&AC’s men then went on to win both the 4x100m and 4x400m at the Midland Masters final at the Alexandra Stadium, Perry Barr.

The two victories helped the men claim first place in the team competition, with a depleted women’s side coming fourth to earn Leamington third overall.

Notable performances for the men came from Tom Foulerton, who came first in the M40 1500m in 4min 27.3sec and Chris Georgiou, who won the M40 100m in 12.5sec.
