Rugby Tri Club Juniors entered 16 members into last weekend’s Warwick Aquathlon (swim, run combination), with some excellent results posted from the younger participants in a field of over 70.
(Results in male and female competitions): Tri Start (8 years, swim 50m, run 600m): 3rd Ella-Mae Fereday 5.01, 3rd Charlie Glover 5.04.
Tri Star 1 (9-10 years, swim 100m, run 1200m): 1st Skip Snelson 7.33, 9th Luca Nitzsche Giles 9.28, 10th James Austin 9.32, 11th Nicole Smith 10.09, 15th Benjamin Leugs 10.32, 16th Cara McQuillan 12.06.
Tri Star 2 (11-12 years, swim 150m, run 1800m): 11th Holly Glover 14.20, 12th Tristan Beardshaw 13.49.
Tri Star 3 (13-14 years, swim 200m, run 1800m): 7th Aiden McGuirk 11.45, 7th Georgia Austin 12.34, 14th Katie Clements 13.27, 15th Reece Oldham 15.24, 17th Francesca Austin 15.11.
Youth (15-16 years, swim 400m, run 3200m): 6th Emily Childs 33.47.

Triathlon is three sports undertaken as one - swimming, cycling and running - if you are interested in taking part more information concerning the club’s adult and junior sections can be found at www.rugbytriathlon.org.uk.
