AVON Mill pool players celebrated the end of a fantastic season at the Rugby & District League presentations last month.
Avon Mill were Division One champions for the 15th time and made it a league and cup double for the fifth time.
In his first season as captain, Pete Evans also saw his players take the singles and doubles titles.
Johhny Webb beat Andy Barnett of Workers Legion 7-5 in a very exciting singles final.
And Johnny Webb teamed up with Gary Cox in the doubles to beat Andy Barnett and Nick Bailie of Workers Legion 4-3 in another brilliant final.
Workers Legion were also Division One runners-up.
Division Two was won by The Griffin ahead of Beat around the Bush, with Riley’s Rejects taking the Division Three title with Station Bar A runners-up.
The George Boys won Division Four with Rugby Snooker Club runners-up and in Division Five Barley Mow A were the winners ahead of Oakfield Club.
Alex A won the Plate with Convicts the runners-up.
Gary Wilkins of Rileys was the Captain’s Cup winner. The £2 singles winner was Mark Zatonski (Beat around the Bush) who beat Dipesh Mistry (Indian Social) in the final.
