IT was the biggest every gathering for Rugby Freestyle Martial Arts Association when they teamed up with their friends from Russelsheim for the annual sports twinning weekend.
The 19 German visitors enjoyed the competition on Sunday morning at the Ken Marriott Leisure Centre, which was won by Rugby. All the twinners also watched Jason Salisbury, 26, pass his 3rd dan black belt grading.
The weekend also included fun at Laserquest in Coventry, swimming, ten pin bowling and a disco at the Railway Club on Sunday evening.
Organiser Master Vendon Wright (6th dan black belt) said everyone had a very good weekend and he is grateful to all the venues they used for supporting them with discounts to help them fund the visit.
