On Monday evening, 14 pairs sat down to play a 21 board, 7 round Mitchell movement. John Crompton and David Sanderson came top with a cracking 66.27%. Second were Robert Spencer and Graham Lightfoot with 65.08%, and third Alan Webb and Chris Cassin with 58.73%.

The event also served as a heat for the country championship pairs. Robert and Graham will go on the final on April 10. We wish them good luck.

The club also hosted a Rugby and District League match. Peter Halliday, Brian Mawby, Malcolm Melrose and Nicky Cook turned out for the Yo Yo’s and beat the Leamington Dinosaurs 20-0.
