Three Rugby juniors qualify for Terafinal
Four of the five ‘contenders’ who succeeded at the Warwick Megafinal travelled to Manchester last Sunday to play in the Gigafinal, two of them for the first time. All four Rugby Chess Club juniors did well and three (pictured) qualified for the Terafinal Challengers Competition. It was a long journey and a hot humid building, so congratulations on some strong wins and staying the course. It’s great news for the future of Rugby Chess Club as to have good young players come through to prove themselves so early on means that soon they will be able to expand their teams and encourage more people of all ages to play Chess.
