Raise money for a charity of your choice

There’s still plenty of time to enter the Two Counties Cycle Challenge Ride on Sunday, September 1.

Organiser Martin Hackley of Dunchurch would like to remind local cyclists both leisure and the more serious to sign up.

Entrants have the choice of a 50km (32 miles) route or the more challenging 100km (64 miles) route and Certificates of Achievement recording their chosen distance will be presented to all finishers. This will be the 4th year the event has been run and entrants can choose to start and finish their ride at either Towcester in Northamptonshire or Rugby.

Register at which also provides all the details of the venues, start times, routes and sponsorship prizes etc. For the first time the ride this year is an ‘Open Charity’ event meaning registered riders can ride for the charity or good cause of their choice if they wish.

A free week’s accommodation in a Turkish holiday resort will be the prize for the person who has raised the most funds for their chosen cause.

The event has in the past been fully subscribed (maximum entrants 500) and a discount entry fee is still available until August 18 so, why not put your fitness to the test and meet a great crowd of similarly minded people!
