DARTS: News from Rugby LVA Darts League

The first round of the Inter-League Knock-out cup produced no upsets as Men’s B League teams met Men’s A in some of the ties.

AEC Sevens took their tie right down to the last game but Lenny Colin got the Radea through into the next round. Barley Mow’s Paul Parry and Ian Walker had to win the last two games to come from behind against The Moonies to get through.

Hillmorton Legion will join them along with other Men’s B teams The Millers, St. Thomas Cross and Crow Pie B, who all had byes.

Men’s A teams Crow Pie A, Half Moon Wolston and Brandon Club will join all other losers into the Mike Taylor Trophy. Draw for the 2nd round Inter-League Cup and The Mike Taylor Trophy will take place on January 31 at 8pm in the Webb Ellis pub as these ties will take place on Thursday, February 14.

LMRCA Locos do the double over their rivals The Misfits to secure second place and just behind Newbold Hookers who remain top after their win over First in the Q. Avon Mill Ladies win over No Spring Chickens keeps them in the pack along with Workers A who surrendered as Tappers Tryers brought some of their cup success back into the league. Scarecrows win over Bell Ladies keeps them holding up the league.
