Cemex golfers raise over £1500 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Four Cemex Rugby Cement Plant employees again this year did the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge to raise money for the charity.

The idea is to complete four rounds of golf in one day. Last year they did four rounds at Whitefields. This year they teed off at The Windmill Village at 4am then played Ansty Golf Centre and Rugby GC before holing the last putt at Whitefields at 7pm. They raised over £1,500 and are looking forward to a new challenge next year!
