The Warwickshire Race Equality Partnership (WREP) is hosting the Warwickshire BME Living Well Event in partnership with Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust and Coventry & Warwickshire MIND. The event will take place at the Rugby Library on Tuesday, May 1 2012 (10am – 3pm).

The main aim of the event is to create awareness and provide information and advice regarding three key themes:

-       Physical Activity

-       Healthy Eating

-       Mental Health Wellbeing

The event will consist of workshops, physical activity demonstrations, networking opportunities and a range of guest speakers. Speakers from a variety of organisations will be presenting and talking about various topics around health, physical activity and wellbeing. Key speaker will be Internationally renowned consultant Dr Javed from NHS Warwickshire and member of the World Psychiatric Association.

In addition, a variety of relevant organisations will be attending as a way of reaching out to the local community, providing information and explaining their services which are available for you.
