The 2nds have found their feet with a mixture of youth and experience.

REWHC Men’s 4th XI 2

Rugby came out victorious in this top of the table clash. The three points put Rugby clear at the top and they remain unbeaten in the first half of the season.

Excellent work rate by all and some brilliant hockey.

REWHC Men’s 5th XI 0

Beeston HC 0

REWHC Men’s 6th XI 1

Coalville 2

The 6ths were unfortunate to fall short in the dying moments to a scrappy penalty corner.

The first half was not a vintage performance, sloppy passing and control resulted in Rugby conceding and going in at half time looking glum.

However, they started the second half brightly and finally a clinical finish by Ryan Hibberd, after some excellent play by Tom Carter, drew the scores level.

They will be disappointed to go in to the Christmas break having lost their last two games.

MoM Avanish Mistry, DoD Jonny Bowering.
