Past president Aubrey Brookhouse skipped Ron Boulton (Thornfield), Michael Burr (Nuneaton) and Stewart Barton (Avenue Leamington) to an 18-18 draw.
After 15 ends things were looking good for Phil Wadland (Avenue Leamington), county treasurer Michael Jackson, Ray Shearsby (Sphinx) and Roy Swift (Ambleside) as they held an 11-7 lead but Notts chipped away at the deficit and it finished all square on 14 all.
County President Mike Brayne together with Elliott Jude (Kings Heath), Mike Soloman (Halford) and Neil Brereton (Entaco) lost 18-17, while Jack Langman (Three Spires), Malcolm Bromwich (Thornfield), Ozzy Lewis (Oakfield) and past president Ian Wilkins went down 22-18.
