Six-week initiative for over 11s
Anyone keen to try a variety of new sports is encouraged to join in the fun new multi-skills club which is launching at The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre next week.
Starting on April 29, the club will take place from 6-7pm every Wednesday. The initiative is part of a six-week course, which offers a gentle introduction to the sport for players aged between 11 years and above. Activities will include tag rugby, dodgeball, cricket, football and much more.
The aim of the course is to learn new skills, discover a sporting talent, have fun with friends or make new ones.
The multi skills club is priced at £2.00 per session with the first session free of charge. There’s no need to book, simply turn up wearing suitable clothing. For more information, please email Georgia.firstname.lastname@example.org
The centre, which is run by GLL, the charitable social enterprise that runs Greenwich leisure centres under its brand name Better, and Rugby Borough Council are supporting Sport England’s Sportivate project by providing young people with a chance to discover a sport they could really enjoy.
