POLO: Festival at Onley Grounds today and tomorrow

Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex, home to Rugby Polo Club, is delighted to be hosting the first ever Midlands Arena Polo Festival this weekend (March 28-30).

Over the three days, 17 teams will battle it out in five tournaments, featuring players ranging from Rugby School pupils to International professionals.

Polo games will run on Friday from 12pm to 6pm, on Saturday from 11am to 8pm and on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

The Warwickshire Hunt Pony Club will also give a Mounted Games demonstration at 5pm on Saturday.

The Festival is being run in association with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance with a Charity Ball and auction on the Saturday evening. The weekend will also celebrate the opening of Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex’s new facilities which include a viewing gallery, classroom, a polo shop, and a farm shop retailing local produce.

Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex is just outside Dunchurch on the A45. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend - enjoy the thrills and spills of polo and treat your mum this Mother’s Day!
