POLO: Hoggs happy to be victors

Rugby Polo Club once again held two tournaments at Two and Zero handicap levels this weekend. This attracted several visiting teams from as far away as St Albans.

The two goal was a closely fought affair, with both games on the Saturday being one or lost by a goal.

The minus two had a couple of stand out teams; Animal House and The Happy Hoggs from Cambridge, who both reached the final.

Sunday saw a glorious day and two furiously fought out finals. Quicksilver came out on top in the two goal with some seriously strong defensive play co-ordinated by Crispen Mathews. While Happy Hoggs showing some strong team work to run out the victors.

The next tournament weekend will be held on June 25-26 when the prestigious Six goal the Spring Hill Bronze will be played for.
