Plenty to watch over the winter at Rugby Polo Club
The last weekend of the summer polo season, as is tradition, finished on the Toft Triathlon where the competition included go karting and shooting. The clear winners were the Kangaroos, winning both the polo and the overall triathlon.
Rugby Polo Club have enjoyed a fantastic summer, despite the rain and as well as gaining many members their current members are playing better and faster polo.
Highlights have included Rugby’s mayor presenting the winning team with the Town’s Trophy and the two-day Midlands Polo Camp. This winter the club is especially looking forward to the Midlands Polo Festival, Comical Cup, the Sworders’ Trophy and the Amateur Polo Challenge.
They are pleased to remind anyone interested that the clubhouse and cafe provides the perfect atmosphere for spectating at this fast paced and adrenaline inducing sport, which they encourage everyone come and watch.
In addition they also have polocrosse, dressage, show jumping and equestrian vaulting in between the polo tournament weekends.
During the week the farm shop and Chukka bar are open.
