With two games remaining and the top two gaining automatic promotion, it really could not be any tighter at the top of the division, with Evesham and Southam both on 81 points and Lions in third, waiting patiently on 80.
Theoretically for Lions, a bonus-point win at Harbury this weekend, coupled with five league points at home to Ledbury on April 16 (neither a given) safe in the knowledge that one of Evesham or Southam will drop points when they face one another on the 16th, would do it.
Lions will continue to take it one game at a time, having now put themselves in the reckoning for a promotion spot.
