Lloyd Warner chips ahead against Bedford on Saturday
Newbold put in a brilliant performance last weekend to beat league leaders Bedford Athletic 27-0 at Parkfield Road.
It ended the visitors’ 19-game unbeaten run and extended Newbold’s winning streak to nine games themselves.
It puts Newbold in a great position to challenge for second spot and the play-off place.
Bedford top Midlands 1 East with 96 points, Derby are second on 88 and Newbold third on 81, but having played one game less.
Newbold host Derby on April 2.
