School represents Eastern Warwickshire for third year
Boughton Leigh Junior School are very proud of their teams of talented rowers, as they build on their reputation as being some of the very best in the local area.
Both the girls and boys teams powered through to win the level 2 competitions at Harris School, with the girls pulling out all the stops to beat both girls and boys teams from other local schools.
Their success at level 2 led to yet another sterling performance at the level 3 games at the Alan Higgs Centre where they represented the Eastern Schools Partnership, against some stiff competition from Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire – eight areas in total.
The rowers shone on the day, and with dedication and teamwork managed a fantastic result with the girls finishing second overall, and the boys finishing third.
This is the third year that the Boughton Leigh teams have represented the Eastern Schools Partnership, and they are keen to make it four in a row next year.
