The Eastern Warwickshire area started the year with some exciting competitions which have continued throughout the summer term, supported by some excellent young leaders from Rugby’s secondary schools.
Participation has increased this year with the most popular primary competition continuing to be the year 5 & 6 Sportshall Athletics competition.
Paddox Primary School continues to dominate in this event, successfully qualifying again for the level 3 competition.
Paddox have entered most school games events and also qualified to represent their area in Tag Rugby, High 5 Netball, Quadkids and Tri Golf.
Northlands Primary School won the level 2 Infant Agility competitions and also the Year 3 & 4 Mini Red Tennis with a clear lead.
Wolston St Margarets Primary secured their place in the level 3 Year 5 & 6 Mini Red Tennis competition as well as in the Quicksticks Hockey event.
The Revel Primary qualified to represent the area in the Primary Rounders competition with Boughton Leigh Junior succeeding in both the boys and girls Indoor Rowing competitions.
The secondary competitions have been equally well attended also with some closely fought competitions.
The winner of the rounders league had to be identified by score difference so well done to Avon Valley.
The swimming gala was a great competition with Lawrence Sheriff winning all but one of the boys competitions and Ashlawn winning all of the girls events.

Winners of the Level 2 School Games competitions qualify to represent the Eastern Warwickshire area at the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Level 3 School Games.
