Coventry Bees complete line-up with final signing

Coventry Buildbase Bees have finally completed their 2015 line-up with the signing of Polish prospect, Jakub Jamrog.

23-year old Jamrog will slot into the position vacated by firstly Cameron Woodward through injury and then Lewis Bridger who controversially pulled out of the deal.

He has previously ridden at Brandon – winning a race in the 2013 Brandonapolis in a time of 58.9 seconds, by far the fastest of the night. His opponents in that race were Bjarne Pedersen, Krzysztof Kasprzak and Scott Nicholls.

This signing comes after a long search with many prospective riders unavailable for one reason or another, one being Joonas Kylmakorpi, whose demands were too excessive.

Jamrog is set up to race in Britain with equipment, workshop and mechanic in place.

He is due to be unveiled as a Coventry rider at tomorrow’s (Friday) Press and Practice day. The stadium will open to the public at around 4.30pm.

Bees are then quickly in action when they travel to Leicester for the first leg of The East Midlands Bowl on Sunday (15th) with a 12noon start.

The second takes place at Brandon the following Friday.

Hans Andersen and Chris Harris will again be at Leicester when they represent Bees in The Elite League Riders championship on Saturday, March 21.
