Freddie Grant from Surrey won the 14&U Boys final beating Reece Benton from Staffordshire in another competitive three set final. Sam Millard from Staffordshire won the consolation event.

The Women’s Singles final also produced a great three-set final with Rugby LTC 1st team players Rachael Baker and Rebecca Thomas both powering their drives down the lines.

Rachael came out on top eventually winning the match tie break third set by 11-9. Gemma Trodd was third. Martin McNally was beaten by Philip Stacey from Leicestershire in the Men’s Singles Final with Gareth Davies taking the consolation final.

Many thanks go to referees Kathryn Heathcote, Natalie Meek, Graeme Baker and Tennis Leaders Harry Brignal, Gemma Trodd, Liam Victoros and Sam Barnes whose help and support ensured a smooth running tournament throughout the week.
