CRICKET: Willoughby's pre-season training starts this weekend

Willoughby Cricket Club’s pre-season nets and training for 2020 season start this weekend, with the club extending an invitation to current and prospective new players at both junior and adult level to get involved.

As in previous years, the club will be using the indoor hall and net facilities at Bilton School in Rugby over the coming months for all their indoor pre-season training.

Junior/youth sessions – for Under 13s, 14s, and 15s - will be on Saturday afternoons, from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, running every Saturday until the end of March.

Senior/adult sessions will be on Tuesday evenings, from 8.00 to 9.00pm, starting next Tuesday 14th January and then running every Tuesday evening also until the end of March.

Looking further ahead, summer 2020 promises to be another busy one for Willoughby with the re-introduction of All Stars Cricket (for children aged 5-8 years) and also the launch of the new ECB Dynamos programme (for children aged 8 to 11 years)
