Harris Academy School Sports Partnership link up with Peak Performance Centre

Harris CofE Academy School Sports Partnership have announced a new partnership with the Peak Performance Centre in Rugby. Working together the partnership will be able to provide cutting edge sports science workshops for their subscribed primary schools; working on applied physiology, strength and conditioning, and diet and a healthily lifestyle.

The Peak Performance Centre, headed up by former professional rugby player Spencer Brown, are a specialist injury rehabilitation and strength and conditioning centre based on the Somers Road industrial trading estate in Rugby, and offer an array of programmes that any professional sports club would be proud of. The centre is open to the public and is increasing its outreach work in the community.

Partnership Development Manager Ian Smart said: “This new working relationship will allow our young people to experience what it is like to work into a professional sports club and receive the kind of care that their sporting hero’s receive. It’s a really exciting opportunity and the children are going to have a lot of fun.”
