News from Coventry Buildbase Bees and Coventry Storm
After a month’s inactivity the speedway season finally ends at Brandon on Sunday.
It is just for one meeting which sees Storm complete their National League fixtures with a double header meeting which starts at 4.00pm..
First up will be Eastbourne, whose match was cancelled due to the weather on Friday, July 24th.
This is followed by Mildenhall, whose match at Brandon on August 28th was abandoned in controversial circumstances due to the curfew and lack of first aid cover. Mildenhall were leading 16-14 and have since been trying to get the result to stand. At the present time they will have to return to Brandon for the rerun.
Success in these meetings will see Storm finish in fourth place in the league. Unfortunately they missed the cut off dates and were not able to take part in the play-offs.
Before this, Chris Harris will be competing in the final Grand Prix of 2015, which takes place in Melbourne Australia.
