Five primary school children are looking forward to a day to remember at Wasps’ rugby match next weekend.

Harris CofE Academy School Sports Partnership were very excited to be able to offer a wonderful opportunity to five lucky primary pupils and their families. Five match day experiences were offered to the Partnership for the Wasps Aviva Premiership match against Sale.

Three pupils have the opportunity to be Wasps Mascots. They will be escorted to the pitch to warm up and see the teams warming up, have their picture taken pitch side with the Wasps Captain, line up in the tunnel and then run onto the pitch with the Wasps team!

Two pupils have the opportunity to take part in the half time announcements! They will meet the matchday announcer in the tunnel and read out selected match day announcements and perform a player interview with other pupils.

The five lucky winners for this opportunity are:

Evie from Boughton Leigh Infant School

Rhiannon from Northlands Primary School

Emily-Mae from Oakfield Primary Academy

Martin from Oakfield Primary Academy

Leonard from Riverside Academy

Each pupil has also been given four tickets for their families to witness the experience and watch the match! Organisers are sure that all will have a day to remember. Pictured is Toby, one of the Harris Young Leaders, drawing the winning entries.
