Rugby Lions’ dream of playing at Twickenham this year was ended by Silhillians on Saturday. Having beaten them twice in the league this season, the last time only a couple of weeks ago, Lions were hoping to make it three in a row.
But, despite leading 21-18 with ten minutes to go, lost the Midlands Cup final 26-21. Lions’ cause wasn’t helped by receiving three yellows and a red card during the afternoon.
