Old Laurentians beat Old Saltleians 32-23 in their promotion play-off at Fenley Field on Saturday afternoon, to earn a well-deserved place in Midlands 1 next season.

After the best season of local rugby in recent years, which saw OLs leading Midlands 2 West (South) virtually throughout and Newbold winning the title decider, both teams will now be playing at the higher level in 2015-16.
