Club asking for photos for their ‘We Believe’ campaign
Dan Carter in a Lions jersey…never thought you’d see the day? Well, it could become a reality if you can track down the world’s leading fly-half.
The Rugby Football Club is calling on its intrepid supporters to complete ‘Mission Impossible’ and have Carter, or someone equally famous, pictured wearing the Rugby Lions’ ‘We Believe’ t-shirt in support of the heritage of Rugby as the birthplace of the game.
Send us a picture of a celebrity Lion captured on camera, together with a few brief details and we’ll publish a selection of the best on the club’s official website.
The winning entry for the main monthly prize of two ‘Lunch with a Lion’ tickets will go to the person who submits the picture of the best-known celebrity, while the runner-up prize will be awarded to the person who has a picture of themselves, or a loved one, wearing Lions apparel in the most exotic location.
A panel of club officials will vote for the winning entries.
To enter: email you picture and brief details to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The ‘We Believe’ campaign was launched by The Rugby Football Club in November for the people of Rugby to show their support for the town’s most famous rugby team, Rugby Lions. Car and shop stickers and t-shirts have been distributed extensively for people to display their pride in Rugby Lions and show their support for the club’s push for the Premiership.
