Warm-up against Rugby St Andrews 2nds/3rds

Supporters will have their first chance to see the new Rugby Lions squad on Thursday, August 22, when they take on Rugby St Andrews 2nds/3rds at Webb Ellis Road, ko 7.30pm.

Lions’ pre-season warm-up continues with a trial game on Saturday, August 31, when they are also holding a club open day. While the players take on Rushden & Higham, ready for their first season in Midlands 5 West (South), supporters will have the opportunity to meet members of the minis and juniors section as well as The Lionesses and take out membership.

The first league game is home to Rugby Welsh at Webb Ellis Road on September 14.

Club membership for the season will cost £25, which will entitle holders to free admission to the ground for all Rugby Lions games as well as a free club tie, and members card giving 50% off room hire, 10% off all alcoholic drinks, 10% off club merchandise (not AKUMA) and preferential treatment given for Six Nations tickets and other RFU events.

The club’s second volunteers ‘working party’ weekend will be this Saturday and Sunday, starting at 10am - supporters are invited to go along and give a couple of hours of their time to help ensure Lions are well prepared for the new season.
