Wins for Newbold and Saints

It was a tough weekend for Rugby Lions, who lost their second league game in a row after a two-season unbeaten run. Newly promoted to Midlands 3 West (South) Lions went down 28-27 to Old Coventrians at Webb Ellis Road, having led 17-8 at half time. Old Covs came back in the second half and Lions fought hard, but couldn’t quite do it in a tense finish to the game.
