Mini Red Tennis Tournament for Year 3 & 4 Pupils

Teams from Abbots Farm Junior, Boughton Leigh Junior, Dunchurch Junior and Northlands Primary School attended Harris CofE Academy last Wednesday to compete in a Level 2 School Games mini red tennis tournament for year 3 & 4 pupils. Each team comprised two boys and two girls and was targeted at beginners who do not have an LTA rating.

The competition organisers, Harris CofE Academy School Sports Partnership, would like to congratulate the team from Abbots Farm Junior School who won the tournament and who will now represent Eastern Warwickshire at the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Level 3 School Games on Friday, July 8. Thanks also to the 9 young leaders from Harris CofE Academy who supported the after school event by umpiring the matches after recently completing the LTA Tennis Leaders officiating course at Rugby Tennis Club.
