Tennis star Lucy is county champion
YOUNG tennis star Lucy Gribben won all of her eight matches at the Warwickshire County Closed Tennis event to become the 8 and Under County Champion.
By winning her event at Billesly in Birmingham the 8-year-old also became the first member of Kenilworth Tennis Club to be a county champion.
Her coach Richard Sharman said: “She played some fantastic tennis and remained focused and determined throughout. She did extremely well and we’re all very proud of her.”
