Gary Guntrip, who has been a member of Mick Ives’ elite veteran cycle team for four seasons, is proving one of the finest riders on three wheels in the country.

The Team Jewson-MI Racing-Polypipe-McCann rider collected the lion’s share of Tricycle Association trophies at their recent awards night.

Fastest Handicap Trophy for 25 miles

Pat Kenny Mem Trophy for highest placed Midland rider in the National Time Trial League, finishing runner-up for second year in a row.

Bronze Medal for 3rd on Handicap in National 10 mile Championships.

Gary also set new personal records last season for 10, 25, 30 and 50 miles.

Mick says the sport requires completely different riding skills from two wheels, and is of course a lot slower.
