A VILLAGE near Rugby is preparing for its biggest and best ever festival of art.
The Marton Art Festival 2011 will take place at St Esprit’s Church in the village this weekend and organisers say it will be the best ever.
The festival, which is now in its sixth year, will include a wide selection of paintings by local artists, including the Marton Art Group.
There will also be a photographic exhibition, craft items and children’s art on display for visitors to enjoy.
Teas, produce and bric-a-brac will be on sale at the church and a number of art demonstrations will take place over the weekend.
