If you didn’t manage to get tickets to Take That’s huge arena tour next year, don’t worry − the next best thing is coming to Rugby this month.
Tribute band Take@That will be performing at Rugby Theatre for one night only on Sunday, November 27, bringing the sounds of Britain’s best-loved ‘man band’ to the town.
Based in Leicester, Take@That have thrilled audiences all over the country, including at the Rugby Business Awards.
The band visited the Rugby venue recently and were happy with what they saw.
The foursome’s Gary Barlow, Dean Barrett - who at one time worked for the Advertiser - said: “We were really impressed with the facilities and all the staff at Rugby Theatre and are very much looking forward to performing in the town.
“We’ll be playing songs from Take That’s amazing 25-year career, from recent hits like Greatest Day, Shine and Rule the World, to 90s classics like Could it be Magic, Relight my Fire, Pray and Back for Good.
“We’re sure there will be something in the set list for everyone, so come along with your friends for a fun evening of music and dancing in the aisles.”
Take@That will be supported at the Sunday night show by female soul and Motown outfit The Heatwaves.
Tickets are £12. Call (01788) 541234 or visit www.rugbytheatre.co.uk to book.
