A night of the blues in the company of top musicians is in store for music lovers in Rugby next week.
The Loft Sessions returms to the Style Bar in North Street on Thursday December 17 with three fine session musicians – Dean Beresford, who drums for Richard Hawley, Al Gare, who plays bass in Imelda May’s band, and Oliver Darling, a guitarist and vocalist with Tinita Tikaram. They are stopping off in rugby as part of a tour of intimate Midlands venues.
The trio boast many UK and world tours, festivals and performances with artists such as Tom Jones, Pete Williams, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys, Tony Christie and Jeff Beck, not to mention regular appearances on Latr with Jools Holland, BBC Radio 2, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (The Tonight Show) and many broadcasts the world over.
Rugby’s Eve Singleton will be the support act for the evening bringing her brand of indie/blues original tunes to the stage.
