Rugby Theatre Youth Project
Review by Nick Whiteside
The perfect summer fun show is given a new lease of life by the Youth Project with this recent show at the Rugby Theatre.
From the opening scene-setter to the toe tappin’ finale there’s something for everyone in this revamp of the 1980s film. The show was upbeat, humorous and full of talent.
The good old famous Ren was played by Matthew Russell who performed the part fantastically. Leo West played the part of the Rev Shaw Moore to perfection, with his deep loud voice to his harmonic singing.
It was great to see a group of people of all ages put together a great production. This has to be the best Youth Project show at Rugby Theatre I have ever seen.
